Op-Ed / List of Links re Coronavirus Issue – 28 April 2020
For the past two months, I have been struggling to write my monthly astrology blog. This is because I have been consumed with researching into why we are in a lockdown and why the majority of the population (and healthy people at that) needs to be quarantined for a very few, bringing immense suffering to the masses, destroying livelihoods, physical and mental health – and all this with data that does not justify these draconian measures.
I have therefore put together some, for me, meaningful links for people that would like to dive deeper into current issues by not only taking into account the narrative of the mainstream media. My heart goes out to the people effected by CV – however, some hard questions about the real risks, the perpetual fear-mongering of the mainstream media, and the thereupon based governments´ responses, need to be asked. And it is in the links below that countless of doctors and experts speak out, revealing a very different picture to the official narrative.

More and more voices are speaking out: doctors, nurses, health workers, many giving evidence about how the data regarding the numbers of Covid-19 patients and deaths are being manipulated. After sifting through hundreds of articles and videos, I have compiled the most reliable links for anyone interested: who wants to see what the people are saying, and to listen to the voices that have been dismissed or drowned out by the mainstream media.
I have thought long and hard about whether to comment on the current situation, as I did not want to get political. My main aim is to bring healing and transformation to others in a one-to-one setting through the beautiful instrument of astrology. However, I can no longer sit and watch and say nothing, as many of our basic freedoms (of speech and the freedom to work and travel) have disappeared during this house arrest.
I was born and raised a German Jew, now a practising Buddhist (my main spiritual practice and philosophical outlook). Theoretical biologists believe that trauma can be inherited through generations – and I believe I have some Nazi Germany memories in my genes. Hence, I feel passionately about freedom, human rights, and the need to call out the abuse of power when I see it. With many planets in Aries, it is in my nature to be forthright and express myself. It is only due to my earthy Taurus Sun that I have held back for this long.
When Neem Karoli Baba, Ram Dass’ great Indian guru, was asked what his main teaching was, he said: “Love – and speak the truth!”
Many should have spoken out, but failed to, in 1930s Germany. We still have the time to speak our truth at this point in time. This is not political. It is, in fact, quite spiritual. For reality has many layers that all need to be taken into account. And looking away from the dark and underlying forces that make our world work, and pretending all is well, when all is in fact quite unwell, is spiritual bypassing: a defence mechanism to shield us from the truth, disconnecting us from our feelings and avoiding seeing the big picture. This is the time to ask the hard questions, for there may not be time in the near future. This is why I am sharing the links below, to articles and videos that I think are worth reading and listening to.
Please note that I do not necessarily agree with everything said or done by the writers, reporters and people involved in these articles and videos. However, they do provide additional information that is not given in the mainstream media. The past has shown that often vital information regarding world events (and less important issues) have been either omitted or grossly distorted by the mainstream media. This makes a case for looking into sources that are independent, not dismissing everything immediately as false or fake, on the grounds that the information is not being broadcast by mainstream channels.
There are many excellent independent investigative journalists on Youtube and other platforms, that are actually doing the work mainstream journalists should be doing (really looking into matters and not just repeating the company line) – of which more and more are being censored. Specifically the countless of heartfelt comments of health workers, patients and family members of CV sick and dying, posted under articles and videos all over the web, are compelling – and have given the people a voice!
As Aristotle said, “It is the mark of an educated mind to be able to entertain a thought without accepting it.”
It is also important to note that many of the researchers and health workers speaking out are risking their reputation, livelihood and sometimes their lives, as well as those of their families, to come forward with their testimony. There is no monetary gain, only potential defamation here. In the end, I am not telling anyone what to think or believe. It is up to the reader to take the information that I am presenting and think for themselves: to do their own research, to discriminate, to discern, to intuit deeply what resonates true for them, and to come to their own conclusions as a sovereign, mature human being – and not to be told what to think by the mainstream narrative, by peer pressure, or by anyone else for that matter.
